VIP Programs & Other Promotions

Our website is all about deposit bonuses. I get that.

But there are more to promotions than the latest ‘100% match up to $500’. That’s why, on more than one occasion, I recommended not choosing a casino based on their opening offer, but on their casino as a whole – their games, software, stakes, and their other deals.

So, I want to dedicate this page to the other promotions that casinos run. Things like VIP programs, free spins, cash back, and more. The idea is to get you to expand your horizons, and get you excited about joining a casino that you’ll stick it out at for months, or even years to come.

Types of Casino Promotions

Casinos offer lots of different things. For example:

My favorite promotion is the VIP program. Done right, it can benefit both the player and the casino. So lets take an in-depth look at what you can expect as a Very Important Person.

What Exactly Are VIP Programs?

These are rewards or loyalty programs. They cater to the players that spend a lot of time and money at the casino.

You seem them in brick and mortar casinos, too. For example, at the Borgata they have their M Life. The difference between that and what you’ll find online is that VIP cards for B&M casinos work at all the casinos’ properties. So no matter where you play (as long as they own it), you’ll earn points and rewards. It doesn’t work that way online.

What Perks Can You Expect?

VIP perks can include things like:

The more money you spend, the better the casino will take care of you.

On a side note – being a VIP member doesn’t mean that you don’t get things like the welcome bonus. You do. In fact, while you’re earning your deposit bonus you’ll earn points which can be used for more bonuses or cash back.

How to Join a VIP Club

Each casino does it differently.

Take Bet365, for example. From the time you make your first deposit you’re entered into their VIP scheme. There are 3 levels that you can reach by earning points. The 4th level, Diamond, is accessible by invitation only.

At other casinos, like Bovada, their VIP program is by invite only. If you get on their radar (most likely by spending enough money) they’ll reach out to you. Or, if you feel like you should be a member, you can reach out to them.

The Best Games for Rewards

The idea is similar to the page I wrote up about the best games to play for clearing deposit bonuses. The best games will depend on your bankroll.

The thing is, slots are better for earning points. Casinos make it easier for slots players to earn points, because there is so much money in it for them.

However, if you have $20 or $50, you’re going to burn through that money long before you’ve played enough to earn any rewards.

On a smaller budget a table game might be a better choice. Casinos often make it harder to earn the same number of points as you would playing slots, but given that there is more skill in blackjack, with a little luck you can make a smaller bankroll last much longer.

And even if you’re breaking even you’re still earning points. So, either way, you win. And that’s a lot more than you can say about most things located in a casino.
